Get The Credit Cards Out – The U.S. Marshals Are Selling A Lot Gold, Silver and Coins

Posted on February 21, 2014

WASHINGTON  D.C.– The U.S. Marshals Service has a lot of gold and silver bullion along with coins, diamonds, fine jewelry and watches that they want to unload at an auction on Saturday.

You can bid online too.

The diamond ring set once owned by Philip Wooten, former Army staff sergeant stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., is for sale. Wooten stole $210,000 from the government while he was in Afghanistan. The starting bid is $29,750.

There are 12 bars of gold bullion worth about $500,000 taken from Jean Joseph Ibrahim, former chief financial officer of Trustin Technology in Irvine, Calif. who embezzled $15 million the company.

The Marshals want the money to go to the victims of these criminals.

Want to see all the shiny items and more that the Marshals are auctioning off at the Fort Worth Convention Center this Saturday?

Go to the U.S. Marshals Service simulcast jewelry auction.

Registration and pre-bids are open. The Marshals Service hold auctions several times a year.
