HOUSTON— A convicted felon was arrested Tuesday after triggering an investigation by posting several racially-laden hate messages and showing how to load a firearm on social media, officials said.
Frederick Ramon Robinson, 45, a Houston resident, was charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm, according to federal prosecutors.
Robinson allegedly posted several messages on social media sites such as Twitter.
The posting claimed the following: “if white people hate ISIS so much, then I like ISIS. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. #chopthemheadsoff Amerikkka is the Black Man’s Foe.”
Also he tweeted such statements as “I say, don’t hesitate—start shooting in their cars. empty whole clips. find them at home and fire bomb it. anything., do something.”
According to the charges, Robinson posted pictures of firearms he owned and allegedly demonstrated how to load firearms in videos he posted online.
Houston is a convicted felon. If convicted, he is facing up to 10 years in prison, officials stated.
