ALEXANDRIA, VA— A federal court judge sentenced Lenny Paul Haskins, 34, also known as “2 Much,” of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Richmond, California, to 40 years in prison for sex trafficking of a child, officials announced last week.
U.S. District Judge Claude M. Hilton also ordered Haskins to pay $538,250 in restitution to the victims and to forfeit $738,250 to the federal government, officials said.
Haskins pleaded guilty on January 8, 2015.
Court documents indicate that since 2005, Haskins has been a pimp and made money prostituting women and girls in numerous cities and states.
By 2012, officials said Haskins was regularly prostituting victims in northern Virginia. Haskins prostituted 17 women and girls in the past few years, authorities stated.
When recruiting the females, Haskins made false promises to the women and girls whom he prostituted.
Haskins frequently provided drugs to the women and girls, and some were addicted to drugs. He told the women and girls whom he prostituted to call him “daddy.”
Some had tattooed themselves with Haskin’s moniker: “2 Much.”
Haskins advertised for sex customers by posting ads on the Internet in sites like Backpage.com; Eros.com, Cityvibe.com and MyRedbook.com, according to officials.
Thousands of customers called the listed telephone numbers.
Haskins required his prostitutes to earn $1,000 a day, and give him the money. When Haskins was incarcerated, he continued to run his prostitution business from jail, officials said.
Around June 2014, two minor victims encountered Haskins at a hotel around Sacramento, California, where they were prostituting. Both were runaways from foster care. Haskins provided marijuana to them and eventually recruited them to work for him, according to authorities.
Haskins prostituted them in California, Utah, and Virginia.
