Police Protect and Serve“When you have a total A-hole prisoner in the back of your patrol car and you hit the brakes suddenly, causing the prisoner to smack his face on the cage/ screen. He accuses you of brutality and you reply, “A dog ran in front of my car,”  according to an article titled “Cop Slang” published in Law Enforcement Magazine.

Other Cop Slang includes “AAA with a Gun,” “P.OP.,” “Face Palm,”  “FAT,” “War Suit,” “Days on the Beach,” and “FBI.”
