Whatever Happened to “Banjo Boy” from the Movie “Deliverance?”

I love the “Dueling Banjos” scene from the movie “Deliverance” with Burt Reynolds.  I always wondered what happened to Billy Redden the boy who is seen playing the banjo. Billy is a lot older, works at Wal-Mart and can’t play the banjo.
