MEMPHIS, TENN.
A federal judge is scheduled to sentence Terrence Milam, 37, of Memphis, in October after he plead guilty last week to creating child pornography and engaging in sexually explicit conduct with two prepubescent female minors, according to officials
Milam produced photographs and videos of himself sexually abusing two female minors between October 2013 and late January 2015. He used a smartphone to record the videos and take the images.
The abuse of the two victims came to light when a Memphis Police Department officer on routine patrol discovered Milam and one of the children parked in a deserted school parking lot.
When the officer approached the vehicle, he saw Milam struggling to put on his pants.
Law enforcement obtained search warrants to review the contents of two cell phones found in the vehicle. This led to discovery of sexually explicit images and the identification of a second victim.
Milam’s abuse of the two children began when one of the victims was approximately nine years old and the other was 11.
Last week, Milam plead guiltyu in federal courtto five counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, according to officials.
Milam also faces charges of child rape in state court.
