The Eye of Justice, a cell phone camera, has resulted in capturing bad cops abusing, brutalizing and killing people they are sworn to serve and protect.
In the video, Steve Silverman, founder and executive director of the Flex Your Rights organization gives excellent rules to follow when recording police.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that it is legal to record police in public places.
In the case of Glik v. Cunniffe, 655 F.3d 78 (1st Cir. 2011), the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit held that a private citizen has the right to record video and audio of public officials in a public place.
The following videos are two glaring examples of why citizens need to record cops when they are making an arrest or during a traffic stop. As long as you don’t interfere with a police officer while he is making an arrest or conducting an investigation, the First Amendment allows a person to video record.
People should have cameras installed in their cars to record traffic stops by cops or traffic accidents.

REDNECKS AT GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA
Last week, a few hundred armed militia groups, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Ku Klux Klaners, supporters of President Donald Trump, and other self-described patriots gathered at the Gettysburg battlefield to defend the site’s Confederate symbols from phantom activists with the violent far-left group Antifa.
Nobody from Antifa showed up if they were planned to do so. Antifa threatened to destroy and vandalize Confederate graves, monuments, and flags, according to the militia groups. Antifa said they never planned to show up, according to reports.
One casualty was reported. One of the rednecks accidentally shot himself in the leg, according to the reports.
“Many of them wore Trump pins…” the story stated.
That statement simply pointed to the obvious.
It should have read that it was a Confederate reenactment that resembled a Trump political rally.
This would all be funny except some of these paranoid lunatics have the ears of elected officials like Texas Gov. Gregg Abbot.
In 2015, Abbott deployed the Texas National Guard to stave off an Obama takeover of the state.
I kid you not. Some of the lunatics found out that the Wal-Mart was closing and the rumor was that Obama planned to hold political prisoners there until they were transported out of the state.

This was the 2015 headline in the Washington Post: “The Americans are coming! Some in a Texas county fear an Obama-led U.S. military invasion. “

“Inside, County Chairman Albert Ellison pulled out a yellow legal pad on which he had written page after page of reasons why many Texans distrust President Obama, including the fact that, “in the minds of some, he was raised by communists and mentored by terrorists,'” according to the Washington Post.
So it should come as no surprise, Ellison said, that as the U.S. military prepares to launch one of the largest training exercises in history later this month, many Bastrop residents might suspect a secret Obama plot to spy on them, confiscate their guns and ultimately establish martial law in one of America’s proudly free conservative states, the Washington Post stated in the article.
They are not “nuts and wackos. They are concerned citizens, and they are patriots,” Ellison said of his suspicious neighbors. “Obama has really painted a portrait in the minds of many conservatives that he is capable of this sort of thing.”
No Threat Here
“No one would perceive that as a threat. I hope they don’t,” White House Homeland Security Adviser Thomas Bossert appeared on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday.
Bossert was talking about Trump’s tweet about his WWF debut and CNN.
Donald Trump tweeted about beating up journalists
Naaaaw, no threat.
Just a juvenile prank from a 70-year-old mentally unbalanced man who just discovered cut-and-paste and is now incorporating it into his Twitter word salads.
Here is a very real threat.
The same dementia-induced creativity of this adolescent is at work when he reaches into his pocket and finds the device that could launch the world into a nuclear war.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY
