MUELLER’S PUPPET SHOW
Somebody should ask Mueller how much time he spent in the Marine Corps?
Ask whether he remembers taking an oath to uphold the United States Constitution?
Whether any political party or DOJ policy is above the Constitution or the rule of law?
Democrats need read to Mueller each piece of evidence and its findings based upon his report. T
hen ask if that specific statement was correct and whether the evidence lead to this conclusion in the report.
Each piece of evidence must be stated carefully, clearly and methodically so Americans who don’t know who Mueller is or ever read his report understand what is in it.
Lose the legalese.
Layout the case in plain and simple terms.
Instead, I fear there will be grandstanding and chest-thumping along with political posturing from some Democratic gasbags at the expense of presenting the facts and evidence to the American people and the world.
Republicans will not attack Mueller if he keeps his mouth shut and tap dances around the questions or refuses to answer questions.
They will sit back, for the most part, and allow Democrats to hang themselves with political speeches and being unprepared as they enter into these hearings.
Being poorly unprepared has been done before by the Democrats when they confirmed Jeffrey Epstein’s personal lawyer, Alex Acosta as Trump’s Labor Secretary. That was pathetic and a disaster and the Mueller hearing could be another version of the Alex Acosta show.
Robert Mueller is set to testify this week before Congress.
Monday, we learned that Mueller asked for directions from DOJ on what to say, and Mueller got what he was looking for to candy-coat his words.
Mueller is a hero, Marine, etc. but he is also a Republican and there is life after all this in the legal corporate world.
Mueller knows this
There are just three simple yes-or-no questions Congress should ask Robert Mueller, according to Neal K. Katyal, who was an acting solicitor general in the Obama administration”
Mr. Mueller, the president said your report found, in his words, “no collusion, no obstruction, complete and total exoneration.”
First, did your report find there was no collusion?
Second, did your report find there was no obstruction?
Third, did your report give the president complete and total exoneration?
I agree with Katyal, who wrote his opinion piece in the NYT.
But what is going to happen, I predict and hopefully, I am wrong, the Democrat will can’t resist the opportunity to grandstand and chest-thump instead of going through each charge and damaging item in the report.
Then, if anything, asking Mueller is that your finding and is this correct? Democrats need to spoon-feed the ignorant public.
Some who still have no clue that the Mueller report and its conclusions exist. Instead, we will probably get the Democrats using the stage to put on a political clown show.
On the other side of the coin, the Republicans will protect their racist con man, Dear Leader. They are more worried about losing congressional perks, hefty paychecks, cushy office jobs, and power.
Screw the United States of America.
