“We don’t work for you. I don’t work for you” — Neil Cavuto said to Trump after Trump criticized Fox News, according to Huffington Post.
Seriously?
Trump employees like Sarah Sanders and former Republican congressmen, Trump stooges found “consultant” jobs with Fox News after they left the White House or congress.
Fox News has always pushed Trump’s agenda of fear, paranoia, racism, and hate, much of the time from scripts coming straight out of the White House.
You’ve been working for Trump, Neil, for more than two years and now, you want to play stupid.
Hannity, you and others said nothing when he pulled the birther lies out of his ass. Worse, the pathological liar has racked up more than 12,000 lies, and Fox didn’t bother to challenge his dishonesty and gross distortion of the truth.
Neil, enlighten me, when did you expose his racism, criticize his hateful remarks and shined the light on his paranoia.
Worse.
I don’t recall you saying a word about Trump’s cruelty when he put children in cages. What about the dozen victims, including a rape victim, who alleges that Trump sexually abused them?
Or, when he advocated violence against protesters at his campaign rallies or didn’t say a word when Trump’s loons shouted that the way to stop illegal immigration was to “shoot” people illegally crossing the border.
What about Trump’s love affair with his gangster pal, Putin, and North Korean vile thug, Kim Un Jong? Did you or others at Fox question why Trump is so close to America’s enemies and berates, disrespects and constantly criticizes our allies. Dozens of countries that came to help the United States during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Instead, Neil, you and your Fox “News” friends ridicule and mock anyone who dares question or criticize Trump.
More than 12,000 Trump lies, and suddenly, there is a self-righteous backlash because Trump is giving Fox the middle finger. Welcome to the club, Neil.
Is the political honeymoon with Trump over? The better question is why did it last so long?
You and most at Fox News aren’t stupid or completely blind to the truth or facts. But I would go out on a limb and say that many of you hung a “For Sale” sign around your necks long ago, and sold yourselves, your integrity and self-respect to Fox Owner Rupert Murdoch. My apologies to Fox news host, Shep Smith, whose self-respect and dignity represent what “Fair and Balance” is all about.
With the rest of you, it’s about fat paydays, celebrity status while working in cushy and mindless jobs simply following Murdoch’s marching orders to rack up ratings and ad dollars.
That’s really the name of the game, huh, Neil?
