LIZ’S SHOPPING CART
The problem I have with Sanders is that he is running around the country, pushing a huge political shopping cart filled with promises of free education, medical care, housing, etc. and doesn’t know how much it will cost the nation.
Sanders’ freebies will get him votes, but it will bankrupt the country.
Estimates of Sanders’ one-payer health payment plan are between ten to sixty trillion dollars. Sanders and his campaign argue that it will be cheaper than Obamacare and private health-care plans.
Really?
The one-size-fits-all Sanders plan takes away choices from Americans to pick and chose the health-care plans they want and be able to go to their doctors.
Sanders’s plans will be run by the same clowns who a few years ago came under very heavy criticism by veterans and others for the way they ran the Veterans Administration.
Veterans had to wait for years before they received any medical care. Some died while waiting to get an appointment to see a VA doctor.
But Sanders keeps pushing his political shopping cart, and once it gets to the cash register (God forbid) Sanders will whip out his American Taxpayer Credit Card to pay for his Social paradise.
BIDEN GOES “MALARY” ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL
On Biden’s tour bus, the 1940’s pop word “Malarky” is slapped on the side of it in giant letters.
Really?
Zzzzzzz.
Who in the hell is running Biden’s antiquated campaign, and what will it take to drag him into the 21st Century?
Next, Biden shows up at a platform stage wearing a fedora and a three-piece, double-breasted, wool-tweet suit with a white handkerchief sticking out of the pocket.
What a joke.
I am undecided but leaning toward Amy.
But Biden needs to jump-start his campaign by going after Trump with ads as strong as the one he did to attack Buttigieg.
What about a political ad with military hero LTC Alexander Vindman with medals on his chest, leaving the White House.
Vindman v. the Bone Spur draft-dodger Trump, questioning why neither Trump and his sons who never served a day in the military.
(President Moron can supply the stupid quotes and twisted facial impressions.)
Or images of what Trump is doing to the national parks and the environment. Trump signing bills that will destroy our parks and forests.
Or Mitt’s speech about why he wants to impeach a criminal lunatic with the nuclear codes in his pocket? Switching Mitt’s image to Trump’s cult following in Congress gleefully signing the book, promising to be fair and impartial during Trump’s trial.
Or images of caged brown children, the Charlottesville hate crime and the fact that a Nazi sympathizer, Stephen Miller, is running a White Supremacist satellite office from the White House.
Instead, we get, from all the Democrat candidates, the “Taste Great, Less Filling” political ads attacking each other.
Tag it’s your turn.
Yawn.
TRUMP BOOTS MILITARY DECORATED HERO OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE FOR HONORING HIS OATH
An American hero, Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vinddman, was escorted out the White House Friday under the orders of a draft-dodging coward plagued by bone spurs and who lacks a spine.
Disgraceful.
Where are the veteran’s groups? There should be outrage.
American heroes didn’t die in the trenches of Europe in World War I; the frozen mountains of Korea; the jungles of Vietnam, deserts of the Middle East or hundreds of other battlefields so Trump can mock American heroes like John McCain or mistreat them like Col. Vindman for being an American patriot and doing his duty.
David Pressman, the lawyer, said in a statement. “Lt. Col. Vindman was asked to leave for telling the truth. His honor, his commitment to right, frightened the powerful.”
Veterans didn’t die on distant battlefields, so a lying, criminal con man could trample on our Constitution and mistreat those
who know what duty, honor, and country are
Neither Trump nor his sons have ever served in the military, and it is evident by the way Trump treats American soldiers using them as political pawns in the Middle East, betraying our allies.
My father, Juan Hernandez, who served with the U.S. Army in three wars – World War II, Korea, and two tours of Vietnam would have been ashamed of these veterans groups who remain silent. My Dad died on July 4, 1985, and buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
He once told me that this country didn’t owe me anything and that it was an honor and privilege to serve.
I served in Vietnam with the Air Force, and I am glad my father isn’t around to see this disgraceful treatment of soldiers and veterans by Donald Trump.
