JUST SAYING

HURRICANE HEADING FOR THE LONE STAR STATE!
Drop thousands of gallons of bleach in the eye of the Hurricane so it can act as a disinfectant in the Lone Star State and kill the Coronavirus.
Next, have loved ones put a flashlight up the keister of people who test positive. Bright light might killed Covid-19. We might also need rakes. They work with wildfires.
Let’s get all businesses, stadiums and beaches opened and put a stop to the heavy burden of having to wear masks.
This is America, GD it! Trump needs to get reelected.
WALLACE NAILS TRUMP
The Washington Post’s puff piece on Chris Wallace is BS.
Every journalist with any integrity and regardless of where they work should politely ask the tough questions, and if appropriate, challenge people they interview with facts and statistics.
Many journalists are either inexperienced, lazy, or ill-prepared so they become nothing more than listening posts during interviews. Bobbleheads with notebooks.
Some journalists just want to be loved by the people who they cover on their beats. That’s makes them worthless, ineffective, and unprofessional.
No doubt, Wallace provided a textbook example of how a professional journalist conducts an interview. Scott Pelley who is with CBS
‘ 60 Minutes is another.
Unfortunately, Wallace and Pelley are few and far between.
What is happening at many newsrooms throughout the country, especially at struggling newspapers, the news is being filtered, first and foremost, through the prism of subscriptions and not offending readers.
This is not a newspaper. It is a newsletter lacking substance such as investigative pieces, and solid interviews.
Granted, Wallace is a rare exception, a journalistic trailblazer at Fox News. The man on the moon so to speak.
If it weren’t so, Fox would have gladly allowed the WP to interview Wallace for their story.
But, according to the WP, “Fox News declined a request for an interview with Wallace about how he approaches interviews.”
Why?
Well, here is why, (reporters): “Mr. Wallace, you ask tough questions and challenge people with facts and statistics. Are there others at Fox who grill people like you during interviews? If so, who?”
“Fox News critics say that Fox is nothing more than glorified cheerleaders for Trump rather than presenting news stories that are fair, accurate, and balanced. Is this true?
“Does journalism at Fox takes a backseat to the Murdoch family’s finances and profits?”
I NEVER PROMISED YOU A ROSE GARDEN
Dana Banks column “Trump’s Window is Closing” does a good job of describing a mindless gasbag who is trying to close the gap between himself and sane America.
“We could go on for days,” he (Trump) said after 40 minutes. Indeed, the only limitation was Trump’s, and his staff’s, imaginations, Dana writes.
Dana’s column is insightful and funny.
In reality, however, Trump is like a seething cornered animal with a gaping wound. Dangerous and vindictive and on a whim, ready to strike at his enemies, real or perceived.
The problem is that he has the nuclear launch codes in his pocket, and could start a war if he feels his survival is threatened.
Trump is a danger to the American people and a threat to national security.
Trump needs to resign.
And, the Republican Congress, with very few exceptions, remain silent, occasionally raising their snouts from the taxpayer’s trough to collectively catch their political breaths.
