A Northridge man has been charged with possession of child pornography, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
Paul Ezzat Hanna, 45, faces one felony count each of possession of over 600 images of child or youth pornography and possession of sadomasochistic child or youth pornography.
Hanna is accused of possessing videos of child sexual abuse. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty, according to officials.
If convicted of the charges, Hanna is facing up to five years in prison, according to officials.
Hanna who was arrested on July 23, posted $100,000 bail.
Deputy District Attorney Angela Brunson of the Cyber Crime Division is prosecuting the case.
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Regional Task Force, officials stated.
