VENTURA, California –
Shooting by Sheriff’s Sergeant and CHP Officer at Borderline Bar & Grill on Nov. 7, 2018 was justified, the Ventura County District Attorney announced Thursday.
The District Attorney’s concluded that Sergeant Helus and Officer Barrett acted reasonably and their use of deadly force in self-defense and defense of others was justified.
Borderline Bar & Grill mass shooting occurred when a gunman stormed a country-western bar in Thousand Oaks and killed 12 people, injured several others.
