Wednesday morning, Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station agents working in Rio Grande City, Texas, assisted with a 911 call relayed by the Rio Grande City Police Department, according to federal officials.
The distressed subject requested assistance after falling from a cliff and sustaining an injury to his leg.
After a brief search, agents were able to locate the subject, a 21-year-old Honduran national, who appeared to have fallen off a 15-foot cliff.
Due to the migrant being unable to walk on his own, an agent carried him on his back and walked him out of the brush to a road to meet awaiting EMS.
