A federal court Tuesday denied a lawsuit filed by Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) that challenged the Pentagon’s military-wide coronavirus vaccination mandate by asking that the requirement be suspended for his state’s National Guard members.
Judge Stephen P. Friot sided with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who has said the mandate is needed to maintain a healthy force that is ready to act quickly. Friot also disagreed with Stitt’s assertion that the Pentagon was overstepping its constitutional authority, noting that Guard members are already required to receive nine immunizations.
“Adding a tenth … vaccine to the list of nine that all service members are already required to take would hardly amount to ‘an enormous and transformative expansion [of the] regulatory authority’ the Secretary of Defense already possesses,” he wrote in his ruling.
When I was in the military, I recall that they would schedule shots, and you had to report to the clinic or hospital to get immunized.
If you didn’t go to the clinic, you could be charged with “Failure to Repair” because they considered you government property. So you could end up getting an Article 15 or worse, a dishonorable discharge.
This military order made sense because the Pentagon didn’t want a deadly virus to cripple American soldiers, rendering them incapable of going into the battlefield.
Now, you have these Trump stooges/renegades like this Republican clown Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, who want to privatize the U.S. armed forces for their political whims and devises or to appease a lying psychopath with the scruples of an outhouse rat.
If these Republican fools believe they need the military to crush protests or protestors they disagree with, they’ll probably create another Kent State University massacre.
The Ohio National Guard shot and killed four unarmed students and wounded nine others peacefully protesting the Vietnam War on May 4, 1970.
The Republicans proved that they couldn’t control their crash dummies/Trump cult members on Jan. 6, and now, they want to control the U.S. military.
It will be just a matter of time before these GOP loons will order the National Guard to attack American military targets in the U.S.
