Two men and a woman were charged Monday with shooting into a South Los Angeles supermarket, injuring six people, according to officials.
Beverly Surratt, 28, Juwann Keaire Williams, 18, and Marquae Yoakum , 20, face one felony count each of conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of attempted murder and six counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Williams and Yoakum remain at large.
Surratt reportedly got into an argument with another shopper while in line at a register on New Year’s Eve. The defendant left the store in the 10200 block of S. Avalon Blvd and met at a house with Williams and Yoakum, who is charged with then going to the store and firing a dozen times into the supermarket.
The victims were not gravely injured.
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Southeast Division.
