Just Saying: Words Drawn Out from the Well of Experience and Wisdom

Posted on June 11, 2023

JUST SAYING

Some people move their lips and say nothing. They traffic in gossip, lies, and criticism of other people. I try very hard to avoid all that, and when I even go in that direction, I put the brakes on immediately. My uncle once told me, “Life is too short for your tongue to burden someone’s life.”
But it’s difficult to brush off the little minds whose caustic tongues have burdened your life for no reason.
Then some men speak from wisdom drawn out of the well of experience who enlighten, teach, and make you smile, even laugh.
I never heard of this man or even knew he existed. But he enriched my life when he spoke about his journey.
This comedian, Mr. Siddiq, should be heard — cover to cover.
He has so much to say.
