JUST SAYING
BY RAUL HERNANDEZ
I am not a Taylor Swift fan and don’t listen to her music, but many of her critics should seriously STFU.
From what I read, she is a lovely lady with a big heart for helping people.
I am a football fanatic. My team isn’t going to the Super Bowl. I am going to be rooting for the 49ers, however.
Football is the Roman Coliseum without the lions—a series of violent collisions by brutes the size of coke machines. We clap and then turn silent when one of the brutes is lying very still on the football field. Then, the announcer says, “Well, he is moving his legs. Look, he raised his thumb.” And we clap when a brute is taken out on a stretcher as he raises his thumb.
Meanwhile, we eat $15 hotdogs and drink $15 beer.
So Ms. Swift is good for the game. She brings new blood, energy, a big smile, and millions of new fans worldwide.
So please let this lady and her Chief boyfriend be part of the billion-dollar entertainment; stop acting stupid and enjoy the show.
