Trump Lawyer Argues He Could Legally Order Assassination Of Political Rival — Huffington Post
JUST SAYING

Justice Sonia Sotomayor asked Trump’s lawyer Sauer, “If the president decides that his rival is a corrupt person and he orders the military to assassinate him, is that within his official acts to which he has immunity?”
“That could well be an official act,” Sauer responded.
Sotomayor seemed “taken aback” at that line of reasoning.
I am waiting for Sotomayor or one of Trump’s Useful Idiots to say: “This is absurd! We are not a Third World country. This is what Putin does in Russia. What are we doing here?”
But Trump and his low-rent legal team are before the nation’s highest court, seeking to twist the Constitution into pretzels for a shot at lifelong dictatorship.
The Robed Rats, led by Justice Clarence Thomas, are convening to find convoluted ways to grant more power to someone whose actions defy the precedents set by 200 years of American democracy.
The Supreme Court is now ticking off a list of absurd questions: Can a U.S. president murder rivals? What!?
They should also ask whether a president can use executive orders to deploy the National Guard to manipulate polling stations or close them altogether.
Reintroduce Jim Crow laws? Shoot immigrants, including children, in the legs, as Trump has suggested? Take home nuclear secrets or share them with the nation’s enemies without being held accountable.?
Well, why not?
It is time to enlarge the Supreme Court.
