Senator Durbin’s characterization of the Supreme Court’s ethical situation as a “crisis” is an understatement in the wake of an upside-down U.S. flag displayed at Justice Alito’s home. 

The situation extends beyond mere ethical concerns—it represents a form of glorified bribery, with votes sold to billionaires and special interest groups, along with the nation’s highest court serving as a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s MAGA-driven right-wing agenda. 

With his controversial actions, Justice Alito has become the latest face of why the nation’s highest court desperately needs an overhaul, including term limits, and expansion, to restore its integrity and public trust.

The court’s robed rats, featuring Uncle Thomas, are accused of devising methods to avoid accountability and transparency, allowing billionaires to influence and effectively purchase decisions covertly. 

This form of bribery is unethical and, worse, unlawful. It cheapens the judicial system, selling it off in pieces.

Alito, Thomas, and the rest of the modern-day Robber Barons must resign.

It’s time to enlarge the U.S. Supreme Court and end the sale of judicial influence by judicial grifters masquerading as justices.
