It’s not enough to simply have prominent Republicans speaking at the DNC.
If Vice President Harris and Governor Walz truly believe in inclusion, they must take bold action by appointing Republicans like Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney to key positions within the Harris administration.
Otherwise, inviting Republicans to speak at the DNC risks reducing them to mere props, trotted out at party pep rallies to deliver platitudes.
If the Democratic mantra of “we’re all Americans” is to have any real meaning, it must be reflected in genuine efforts to bring everyone to the table.
Our nation thrives when conservative, liberal, and independent voices are all contributing to its success.
No one should fear “the other” because of differences in skin color, gender, religion, or creed.
True leadership demands a commitment to unity that transcends party lines and embraces the full diversity of American thought.
