DOJ Sues RealPage for Algorithmic Pricing Scheme That Harms Millions of Renters Natioinwide

The Justice Department has taken decisive action, filing a civil antitrust lawsuit against RealPage Inc. for orchestrating an illegal scheme to stifle competition among landlords in apartment pricing and monopolize the market for commercial revenue management software used to set those prices.

Officials stated last week that RealPage’s alleged practices strip renters of the advantages of fair competition, impacting millions of Americans.
