Shocking? Perhaps not.
Peter Hegseth emerges from the same Trump-era cesspool that gave us figures like Matt Gaetz, Robert Kennedy Jr., Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, and others.
These individuals epitomize the warped judgment of a con man who is profoundly unfit—morally, mentally, and ethically—to lead.
Trump’s appointees were chosen not for their qualifications, but for their willingness to serve as sycophantic pawns, ready to auction off America’s integrity piece by piece to the highest bidder. They embody a disdain for the sacrifices made by American heroes—those whom Trump infamously dismissed as “suckers” and “losers”—who fought and bled for the freedoms we hold dear.
If Peter Hegseth possessed even a shred of honor or self-awareness, he would step aside and withdraw his name from consideration as Secretary of Defense. But integrity is scarce in his circle, and Hegseth, like his benefactor, seems content to dwell in the political sewer.
It’s not just disappointing—it’s a disgrace.
