If corruption and political cronyism continue to infect the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court might as well crown Trump King George VII—gold-plated throne and all.Uncle Thomas needs a new RV, Alito could use another all-expenses-paid luxury getaway, and the rest? Maybe a little help getting their kids into Ivy League schools.
At the Supreme Court, tin-cup justice is all the rage—just hold out your hands, and the billionaires will fill them.
This is the same court that told us “corporations are people too,” paving the way for the ultra-rich to buy politicians, federal agencies, and even judges. Now, they’re gift-wrapping “qualified immunity” for Trump, giving him a free pass to crush his enemies like a mob boss with a lifetime pardon.
Meanwhile, Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch might as well be wearing “For Sale” signs around their necks.
And Trump?
He’ll be rolling in with a convoy of shopping carts.
