According to Chris Goldsmith, a plaintiff in a union/veteran lawsuit who leads federal Task Force Butler, Trump has allowed Elon Musk access to very private information about Americans, including military records and Social Security numbers.
Goldsmith works with this Task Force works at the federal government and hunts down Neo-Nazis and other criminal gangs including Dark Web hackers.
“Instead of hiring forensic accountants and investigators, they are hiring people out of Musk’s private companies who were recruited out of hacking collectives, many who are involved with criminal enterprises,” Goldsmith said. “We’re talking about the most disturbing and disgusting people on the planet, who are one degree away from Elon Musk, and those people are being invited into government…These are hackers who Elon Musk recruited out of the worst places of the Internet.”
Goldsmith said his family and mother have been threatened.
“I am a Nazi hunter,” he said. “These are fascist street gangs who tried to murder people…I have had Neo-Nazis show up at my mother’s house to hand-deliver a death threat,” adding that Nazis called in a false “murder-suicide” at his home.
A federal judge just issued a temporary restraining order against the Trump administration in response to a suit brought by union members and military veterans. The TRO limits Musk and DOGE’s access to sensitive personal information
