A federal grand jury in Gulfport, Mississippi, has indicted Stefan Day, also known as Sefan Pete Day Rowold, on six federal counts for allegedly vandalizing and setting fire to a house of worship, officials stated.

According to the indictment, Day set fire to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wiggins, Mississippi, on July 5 and July 7, 2024. He faces charges of arson, destruction of religious property, and using fire to commit a federal felony.

If convicted, Day faces up to 20 years for each arson and civil rights charge, plus a minimum of 10 years for using fire in a federal felony.
