Then he shuffled off to Arizona to fawn over Joe Arpaio, a racist ex-sheriff convicted of criminal contempt. Pence called him a “champion of the rule of law.” That’s like calling a bank robber a financial planner.
Now he’s trying to polish his legacy and sniff around 2028, hoping America forgets he spent four years licking Trump’s boots down to the soles. He didn’t lead us out of the darkness—he just dimmed the lights a little less.
