Craig of North Carolina—for allegedly conspiring to create and distribute “animal crush videos” depicting extreme violence and sexual abuse against monkeys.

Favret and Craig are accused of working with previously indicted Ronald P. Bedra of Ohio to fund and direct the production of torture videos involving juvenile and adult monkeys.

Court documents state that the group used encrypted apps to pay individuals in Indonesia to carry out the abuse on camera.

Some videos allegedly show monkeys being sodomized with a heated screwdriver and mutilated with scissors.

The FBI and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service jointly investigated the crimes.
