Posted on July 17, 2025

West Virginia Woman Took Top Secrets, Committed KidnappingA 78-year-old Hamburg man, Gerald Przybylski, was arrested and charged after allegedly sending a threatening email to U.S. Congressman Nick Langworthy on June 13, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.

In the message, Przybylski allegedly wrote, “You should be afraid for your life!!!” and referenced a so-called movement to “execute Trump and all his Republican sycophants,” claiming it would be a “legal execution under the Constitution.”

The email accused Langworthy and his colleagues of betraying their oath of office and labeled them “TRAITOR!!!”

When Przybylski was interviewed by law enforcement, he reportedly said, “I was probably trying to scare him.”

Przybylski was charged by criminal complaint with transmitting in interstate and foreign commerce, explicitly using the internet, communications that contained threats to injure a member of Congress.

He was released on conditions and faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
