JUST SAYING:
BY RAUL HERNANDEZ

Here is an “option” that shouldn’t be off the table because it is a Civil Rights issue:
Rigging an election in Texas that rigs an election to favor Republicans and Trump.
Why don’t the NAACP and Hispanic, and Asian groups call for the Boycott of Texas?
History left us the blueprint: economic pressure works. Arizona learned that lesson in 1993 when the Civil Rights Movement’s boycott forced the state to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Money stopped flowing, and politicians caved.
The Arizona boycott involved the NFL and other sports teams, as well as unions and organizations.
Texas is no different. Cut them off. Don’t spend a dime. No tourism. No conferences. No corporate deals. Texas Republicans are dragging the nation toward white nationalism under the shadow of an orange-skinned authoritarian.
Gregg Abbott, Ken Paxton, Ted Cruz, and other bigoted politicians in Texas want to make null and void the votes of Blacks, Hispanics, and other minorities in the Lone Star State.
These Republican nationalists and their supporters didn’t just vote themselves to office.
The quickest way to shake their foundations? Starve the revenue stream. Corporations understand boycotts—ask Target, ask Arizona. Economic pain gets results where moral arguments fail.
If people only understood the power of the dollar vote to change things, we’d all be in favor of a Texas Boycott,.
