JUST SAYING: Trump, Gregg Abbott and Ted Cruz the Axis of Stupidity, Global Punchlines

Posted on October 13, 2025

Trump Makes Claim So Stupid That It Could Easily Be Debunked By Looking At A Map — Huffington Post

“You go ‘boom, boom,’ and now you’re in Qatar,” the president said while making a huge geographical flub.

JUST SAYING

BY RAUL HERNANDEZ

Trump is the Golden Calf for the Party of Perpetual Stupidity—gold spray-paint courtesy of Fox News—with honorable mentions going to Texas’s own Greg Abbott and Ted Cruz.

This is true.

Flashback to the summer of 2015: Abbott and Cruz went full tinfoil, convinced Barack Obama was sending the U.S. military under Operation Jade Helm to take over Texas and declare martial law.

Abbott and Cruz’s master plan? Put the Texas National Guard on “alert” to spy on American Special Forces—because nothing says “defense of liberty” like weekend warriors with binoculars tailing Green Berets.

Of course, the conspiracy circus was fueled by Alex Jones’s InfoWars, his sweaty paranoia, and whatever loco weed was floating around Austin that week. Twelve hundred troops parachuted into barbecue country, and Abbott and Cruz acted like it was Red Dawn: Brisket Edition.

Now you know why the Texas National Guard is in Chicago, courtesy of Abbott and Costello, uh, I mean Cruz, chasing the windmills in Trump’s skull while not stepping on the dead birds around them.

So, now you know why Trump, Abbott and Costello, oops again, I mean Criz, are global punchlines to jokes.
