JUST SAYING

BY RAUL HERNANDEZ

Trump is too crude—and frankly too unserious—to change his thuggish playbook. Trump and his in-house stooges—JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio—may try to corner Zelenskyy again, maybe on-camera, maybe behind closed doors, and then use the fallout as a runway to slide toward a Putin-friendly “deal.”

That’s the con: rebrand surrender as “peace” while the aggressor—Trump’s pal, Putin—keeps the prize.

And here’s the fact they can’t spin away unless they bury it: there’s a public scoreboard at the United Nations.

On February 24, 2025, the UN General Assembly backed a Ukraine/Europe resolution by 93 in favor, 18 against, 65 abstentions. That 93 is real, recorded, and global—countries willing to say out loud that peace doesn’t mean rewarding conquest and the invading army — Russia.

So expect the propaganda rinse cycle. Trump, Fox—and whatever airtime launders it next—will try to put lipstick on a “peace plan” that amounts to this: Ukraine loses, Putin wins, and Trump declares himself a genius on television.

The political jolt is that the United States voted “no,” breaking from prior years and landing on the same side of that resolution as Russia and a small cluster of governments.
