It’s time to abolish ICE — not partially fund what has effectively become a private, taxpayer-subsidized security force for the Trump Organized Crime Family.
Want to arrest violent felons? Use ICE funds for the U.S. Marshals Service to increase manpower.
While ICE stages press-friendly raids, the Marshals have been quietly doing the unglamorous work of real law enforcement without the political performance for Trump and the Republicans.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, roughly 70,000 to 90,000 fugitives are arrested or cleared every year. Over the past decade, that’s well over 700,000 fugitives — no cable-ne

ws theatrics required.
The cases include homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, sex offenses, kidnapping, escape from custody, parole violations, and weapons charges tied to violent crime..
Since 2019, the Marshals’ numbers speak for themselves:
FY2019: 90,239
FY2022: 75,846
FY2023: 73,362
FY2024: 74,222
FY2025: 73,323
At any given time, the FBI is actively searching for about 12,000 fugitives.
Law-enforcement agencies are actively seeking about 12,000 fugitives at the federal level via the FBI, the total number of people with outstanding felony warrants across all U.S. jurisdictions is much greater.
