JUST SAYING

Who’s surprised that billionaire Jeff Bezos treated the The Washington Post like a bar rag once it got him into Mar-a-Lago?
This is the paper that helped take down a presidency. A journalism powerhouse.
Then it tried to run an editorial opposing the return of a mentally unstable criminal con man, Donald Trump.
It never ran.
Funny how that worked.
Shortly afterward, Bezos scored his invitation to Mar-a-Lago.
Turns out buying political favor isn’t cheap. Influence costs money. Access costs money. Getting into the good graces of an orange psychopath costs real money.
So Bezos reportedly shelled out nearly $100 million on a cinematic PR perfume bomb for Melania Trump.
Voilà: a movie about Trump’s grifter wife.
After using one of America’s gold standards for journalism as leverage, Bezos now plans to flush up to 300 Washington Post jobs.
But somehow there was money for the Melania fiasco.
Meanwhile, Bezos’ other empire, Amazon, has cut roughly 30,000 jobs since late 2025—blamed on automation and “efficiency.” Translation: technology replaced people.
So let’s recap:
Journalists out.
Workers out.
PR vanity projects in.
Funny how austerity always lands on labor—never on billionaire ego.
Boycott Amazon.
Boycott the Washington Post.
Hit them where it hurts.
