JUST SAYING

BY RAUL HERNANDEZ

Why doesn’t the NYT publish these facts about another war—the 1980-1988 Iraq-Iran War?
Print them when some argue to quickly end Trump’s war with more bombs and ground troops?
FACTS: The war between Iraq and Iran lasted from 1980 to 1988. It was one of the longest and deadliest conventional wars of the 20th century, with total casualties ranging from 500,000 to over 1 million people killed.
Fox, along with Bibi Netanyahu and Trump’s stooge Hegseth, are salivating at the thought of another protracted and brutal conflict started by Trump in the Middle East. They are encouraging Trump and cheerleading for ground troops and more bombs that they argue need to be sent to Iran to end the war quickly.
BTW: In 1980, the U.S. supported Iraq to counter the influence of Iran.
Trump and his cheerleading ghouls say they don’t want Iran to get a nuclear weapon .
FACT: There are more than 12,000 nuclear missiles on the globe. The U.S. and Russia own 90 percent. Nine nations own nukes, including North Korea and China.
Trump, Fox, Hegseth, and the MAGA loons want to keep Iran from getting a nuke. Trump just signed a deal to help Saudi Arabia get a nuclear weapon.
Trump also wants to invade Greenland and annex Canada. He allowed Hegseth to bomb boats in the Caribbean, schools, hospitals and churches.
