A federal judge today sentenced a former owner of two New Jersey defense contracting businesses to four years and nine months in prison for sending sensitive military data to India, officials announced.
Hannah Robert used her church’s computer to send India technical drawings that included parts in the torpedo systems for nuclear submarines, military attack helicopters and the F-15 fighter aircraft. She volunteered at her church as a web administrator. The church had no knowledge of that she was sending military blueprints to India.

Joel Alexander Wright, a former seminary student from Ohio, pleaded guilty in federal court today, admitting that he attempted to adopt or purchase female infants and toddlers in Tijuana in order to sexually molest them, federal officials announced today.

A 55-year-old former bank teller who resides in Columbus, Georgia, agreed to cash fraudulent tax refund checks for a “fee” was sentenced to 18 months in prison, according to officials.
The U.S. Treasury checks totaled more than $780,000, officials said.

‘Affluenza’ teen ordered to serve nearly 2 years behind bars

A Texas teenager who used an “affluenza” defense in a fatal drunken-driving wreck was ordered Wednesday to serve 720 days in a county jail.
Ethan Couch appeared in adult court for the first time Monday, when a judge announced he is ordering the 19-year-old to serve four 180 day terms consecutively, one term for each of the four people who died in a 2013 drunken driving wreck involving the teen.

An Indiana pain doctor faces multiple charges after prosecutors say he exchanged pills for sex.
FOX59 was the first to report on allegations against Dr. Tristan Stonger. Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said Tuesday that Stonger faces two counts of distribution of hydrocodone, one count of distribution of morphine, two counts of distribution of amphetamines and one count of distribution of a legend drug. All are felonies.
