\"Dept<\/a>A federal judge sentenced a 41-year-old man who had 40,000 images and more than 100 videos of child pornography to 70 years in prison.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Daniel Curran,<\/strong> 41, of York, Pennsylvania plead guilty to producing, receiving and possessing child pornography on Dec. 4, officials said.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Court Judge William W. Caldwell<\/strong>\u00a0said this was one of the most disturbing cases he had ever seen, thought the maximum sentence was completely justified, noted the defendant was a danger to young people and needed to be in prison for their safety, according to officials.<\/p>\n

The pornography was found on Curran’s computer and thumb drives, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Curran was \u00a0charged in November 2013 and signed a plea agreement in November 2014.<\/p>\n

This investigation was conducted by the FBI and the the Northern York County Regional Police Department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
