A doctor and his wife were charged with being involved in a drug dealing conspiracy involving some members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club and others, officials said.<\/p>\n

The illegal drug distribution resulted in the death of a person, officials said Thursday.<\/p>\n

An indictment charges Dr.William J. O\u2019Brien III<\/strong>\u00a0with 95 additional counts of distribution of controlled substances – oxycodone, methadone and amphetamines.<\/p>\n

O’Briel allegedly conspired with co-defendants including some members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club<\/strong> to distribute and sell drugs. He is facing up to life in prison if convicted of the felony crimes, officials said.<\/p>\n

The estimated street value of drugs allegedly sold by the conspiracy is about $5 million.\u00a0 O\u2019Brien made $2 million in cash from the alleged drug trafficking conspiracy, officials allege.<\/p>\n

The indictment charges O\u2019Brien and his ex-wife, a ninth defendant, Elizabeth Hibbs<\/strong>, 54, with money laundering, bankruptcy fraud and making false statements under oath in a bankruptcy proceeding.
