Reema Nicki Bajaj<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Attorney Reema Nicki Bajaj, 28, of Sycamore, Ill., was suspended for three years from practicing law for not reporting that she worked as a prostitute, according to the American Bar Association Journal.<\/p>\n

The Illinois Supreme Court agreed with the three-year suspension after \u00a0Bajaj plead guilty to a misdemeanor count of prostitution and failed to disclose her illegal work history on her bar application.<\/p>\n

The petition\u00a0filed by the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission\u00a0alleges that the prostitution occurred between 2005 and January 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the petition, Bajaj identified herself as \u201cNikita\u201d in ads posted on AdultFriendFinder.com., the ABA Journal states.<\/span><\/p>\n

She performed sex acts with two men who answered the ads, the Disciplinary Commission alleges, one of which resulted in a June 2012 guilty plea. But Bajaj denied ever exchanging sex for money in sworn testimony in the ethics case in September 2012. The Journal reported.<\/p>\n

She also said she stopped being a prostitution \u00a0after becoming a lawyer.<\/p>\n

The commission stated that testimony was false. The commission also alleges that Bajaj failed to disclose information on her bar application, including:<\/p>\n

\u2022 She didn\u2019t disclose her \u201cNikita\u201d alias in response to a question asking if she had ever been known by other names.<\/p>\n

\u2022 She didn\u2019t disclose her employment as a prostitute in response to a question about jobs she held in the last 10 years.<\/p>\n

\u2022 She answered no when asked about possible misconduct.<\/p>\n

The Journal stated that \u00a0Bajaj received her law license in November 2010 after graduating from Northern Illinois University College of Law.<\/p>\n
