According to Hingham Police, Doyle knew the woman who he allegedly pointed the gun at.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Police say Doyle was registered to carry the gun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Harold Shaw, Special Agent in Charge for the FBI, issued a statement Wednesday night on the incident, calling it a personnel matter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The FBI takes allegations of misconduct very seriously. We are aware of the matter involving the recent arrest of an FBI employee and are fully cooperating with the Hingham, MA Police Department and the Plymouth County District Attorney\u2019s Office. This matter has been referred to the FBI\u2019s Internal Investigations Section in Washington, DC, as well as the Department of Justice\u2019s Office of Inspector General. Because this is an ongoing personnel matter, we will not comment further.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> Doyle faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, being a licensee carrying a firearm while intoxicated, and disorderly conduct.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">He was released Tuesday night and arraigned on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIt\u2019s the law, you\u2019re not supposed to do that.
