The kindergartner now presents as a transgender girl. We will present evidence that the school has taken all the due measures to protect the student\u2019s rights.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIt shouldn\u2019t have gotten this far already, but they need to be protected,\u201d Johnson said. \u201cThey\u2019re kids. Kids grow up into adults. Why saddle people with more things to <a id=\"itxthook3\" class=\"itxtnewhook itxthook\" href=\"http:\/\/minnesota.cbslocal.com\/2016\/04\/13\/transgender-student-complaint\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span id=\"itxthook3p\" class=\"itxtrst itxtrstspan itxtnowrap\"><span id=\"itxthook3w\" class=\"itxtrst itxtrstspan itxtnowrap itxtnewhookspan\">deal<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook3icon\" class=\"itxtrst itxtrstimg itxthookicon\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/span><\/a> with than they\u2019re already going to have?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A spokesman for the Human Rights Department says the school has one month to respond to the family\u2019s complaint.
