(WZTV) \u2014 UPDATE: Clarksville Police said a toddler has died after he accidentally shot himself in the face.<\/p>\n<p>Police said a 3-year-old boy accidentally shot himself with a .40 caliber handgun about 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Samantha Lane.<\/p>\n<p>The child was taken to to Tennova Hospital by ambulance. Police confirmed at about 8:10 p.m. that the child had died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the toddler and his family were visiting from Fort Riley, Kansas. The gun belongs to the Clarksville homeowner.<\/p>\n<p>No criminal charges have been fled at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.
