{"id":25683,"date":"2016-07-30T16:49:12","date_gmt":"2016-07-30T23:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=25683"},"modified":"2016-07-30T16:49:12","modified_gmt":"2016-07-30T23:49:12","slug":"25683-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=25683","title":{"rendered":"Arkansas Deputy Arrested on Assault, Drug Charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"overflow: hidden; width: 560px; height: 315px;\" src=\"http:\/\/play.syndicaster.tv\/v1\/widgets\/dd964160-9bb8-0133-302c-7a163e597437\/player.html?vid=6485064&amp;tags=&amp;volume=100&amp;plid=&amp;autostart=false&amp;autonext=false\" width=\"560px\" height=\"315px\" frameborder=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>BERRYVILLE, Ark<\/strong>. \u2014 A Carroll County deputy is now behind bars, held on felony assault and drug charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Jonathan White, jailed in Benton County, Ark. on assault and drug charges from Carroll County.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The says the wife of Deputy Jonathan White reached out to his department Wednesday, reporting White had assaulted her several hours earlier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;So we immediately started investigating it and we came up with probable cause to arrest him, that he had done it,&#8221; says Sheriff Randy Mayfield.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Mayfield says White has been with the department just over two years and worked as a detective, primarily on drug cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;We have the public&#8217;s trust, so we should be held to the same or higher level as the public,&#8221; Mayfield says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The sheriff says they were tracking Jonathan White much of the day and found and arrested him at a house on the west side of Berryville, in the Birch Tree Acres subdivision. &#8220;He was treated exactly like anybody else would have been for the allegations and evidence, just exactly,&#8221; Mayfield says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">That&#8217;s where Sheriff Mayfield says they also found evidence for drug charges.
