Even more shocking are the people accused of doing it, one of them the girl\u2019s own mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">That little girl is 10-year-old Victoria Martens. Details of the torment she endured early Wednesday morning are emerging. Read at your own risk.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote4 pullquote-half\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThey injected this little girl with methamphetamines to make her calm down so they could do what they wanted to, to this little girl,\u201d said\u00a0Albuquerque Police Officer Tanner Tixier.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Albuquerque police say the people behind the crime include her own mother, Michelle Martens, her mother\u2019s boyfriend, Fabian Gonzales and Gonzales\u2019 cousin, Jessica Kelley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Police say it all happened in the mother\u2019s apartment at Irving and Golf Course early Wednesday morning, after someone reported a disturbance. When police arrived, they found the little girl\u2019s remains under a burning blanket.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Police soon learned the girl had been dismembered in what they believe was an attempt to cover up the crime. And police say the torment she endured before that is hard to even fathom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThey injected this little girl with methamphetamines to make her calm down so they could do what they wanted to, to this little girl,\u201d said Albuquerque Police Officer Tanner Tixier.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/krqe.com\/2016\/08\/25\/video-albuquerque-police-release-details-in-10-year-olds-death\/\">Watch: Albuquerque Police discuss\u00a010-year-old girl\u2019s death\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">All three suspects are charged with the girl\u2019s murder, child abuse, kidnapping and other charges.\u00a0Kelley and Gonzales are both also charged with rape.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_424798\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-424798 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/lintvkrqe.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/08\/fabian-gonzales.jpg?w=300&amp;h=200\" alt=\"Fabian Gonzales\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/span><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Fabian Gonzales<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Gonzales and Martens were seen being taken into custody\u00a0by police Wednesday night, with bruises on their face they claim are from Jessica Kelley attacking them with an iron during all of this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">They were both escorted out of the APD Main Station in handcuffs and transported to the Metropolitan Detention Center. When pressed for answers about what happened, Gonzales pinned everything on\u00a0Kelley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cI tried my best to protect Michelle and the baby,\u201d said Gonzales. \u201cJessica Kelley did it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">KRQE News 13 has learned the\u00a0suspects in the girl\u2019s death are no strangers to the law. Jessica Kelley does have a long rap sheet, but so does Gonzales.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_424799\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-424799\" src=\"https:\/\/lintvkrqe.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/08\/michelle-martens.jpg?w=300&amp;h=200\" alt=\"Michelle Martens\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/span><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Michelle Martens<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Both Kelley and Gonzales have violent histories with multiple charges of battery against a household member. Gonzales has four battery charges on his record, two resulting in great bodily harm. He was also charged with an open count of child abuse in 2014 and abandonment of a child that same year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Jessica Kelley\u2019s record is somewhat similar. She also has four battery charges on her sheet, plus one pending domestic abuse charge she\u2019s supposed to appear in court for on August 29th. Those charges were filed back in 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Kelley pleaded no contest to assaulting a peace officer in 2007 and to DWI in 2011. She was found guilty for another DWI in 2010. Kelley also has two shoplifting and one drug trafficking charge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to New Mexico Courts, Kelley and another woman were previously charged with raping a woman. Those charges were dismissed, but Kelley was convicted of being there, which is a sex crime. A judge gave her three years and she served them all after violating her probation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to Kelley\u2019s Facebook page, she was released just ten days ago. That\u2019s when she moved in with her cousin and his girlfriend, and tragically, Victoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Kelley\u2019s conviction for conspiracy to commit rape did not require her to register as a sex offender, or keep away from children.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_424685\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-424685\" src=\"https:\/\/lintvkrqe.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/08\/jessica-kelley_mug.jpg?w=300&amp;h=200\" alt=\"Jessica Kelley\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/span><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Jessica Kelley<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Michelle Martens on the other hand, appears clean, according to NM Courts. The only cases found for her were related to child support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Michelle Martens and Fabian Gonzales are set to appear in court Thursday.
