Colonel Sentenced to 20 Years for Making Child Porn Through Social Media"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>VIRGINIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p id=\"node-title\" style=\"text-align: center;\">A federal judge sentenced a Stafford, Virginia, man who serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, \u00a0to 20 years in prison for making child pornography and attempted enticement of a minor, according to officials.<\/p>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-pr-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<div class=\"field__item even\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Steven Jon Frederiksen,<\/strong> 42, used social media and instant messaging apps to lure girls from 14 to 17 to make child pornography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In November 2015, the FBI got information that Frederiksen who worked at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), used a government-issued laptop to produce child pornography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Frederiksen admitted in connection with his plea agreement that he used online chat programs, including Kik, to entice at least four minor girls, ranging in age from 14 to 17, to produce child pornography via the internet.
