My friend and talented Attorney Kristi Peariso, who has a law practice in Ventura County, California posted this on Facebook Thursday about her daughter’s boyfriend:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Facebook\"“My 16 year old daughter is dating a wonderful Mexican American boy. He was born in the US and is a citizen. His father is a naturalized citizen and his mother a citizen of Mexico. She is a very hard working woman and is not a rapist or murderer. Yesterday as the boyfriend walked down the street, in the middle of downtown Ventura, someone yelled at out a car window to him “you better go home (Mexico) while you can”. This is the American that we now live in. People who obviously have always been racist (and clearly there are more than I would have ever guessed) now feel free to express their discriminatory, racist hate in public at the expense of a child. But when our country elects a president who does the same, what can we expect. I can promise you that this incident would not have occurred on Monday.”<\/span><\/p>\n

DARK DAYS, DARK HEART<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A snake charmer will tell you that a snake cannot be trained to retract its fangs or not inject its venom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some, however, are convinced that President Elect Donald Trump will set aside his enormous ego and overcome a mentally unstable personality and mend what has become the gaping wound of American division.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well-meaning Christians even laid hands on a con man who said he has never had asked for forgiveness from anyone, not even an apology. Many evangelicals like Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham went further and publicly voiced their \u00a0support for Trump. \u00a0For the most part, they did this to ensure the Republican Party can secure to appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump overwhelmingly got the evangelical vote. \u00a0Millions of Christians were willing to vote for a man who bragged about sexually assaulting women, and told Howard Stern that he enjoyed walking into the dressing rooms of young women and loved catching them while they were undressing. \u00a0He made a remark on video when he saw a 10-year-old female going up a store elevator that he would be “dating her” in 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is example after example of Trump’s bigotry and racism. \u00a0He unashamedly mocked a disabled journalist and belittled an American hero, John McCain, along the way questioning the sincerity of a Muslim family who had lost their U.S. Army Captain son in Iraq. \u00a0He died saving the lives of other American servicemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, Christians were willing to embrace this evil and enter into a pact with the devil to secure two picks on the U.S. Supreme Court.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m not a Bible scholar but I believe Jesus while in the wilderness was offered much more than two Supreme Court picks. \u00a0Satan took Jesus to a high mountain top and offered him “the kingdoms of the world and their glory” if he worshiped Satan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each time Jesus was tempted he replied “it is written” and quoted scripture to the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n

A godless man and comedian Bill Maher didn’t take long to figure all this out, saying that Trump did something positive by exposing these “shameless” religious hypocrites for what they were.<\/span><\/p>\n
