DENVILLE, N.J.<\/strong> — At St. Clare\u2019s Hospital in Denville, New Jersey, they still can\u2019t stop talking about it.<\/p>\n A few months ago, emergency responders got a call for a man with chest pain — and what a heart they found.<\/p>\n \u201cFirst thing he said was \u2018don\u2019t let me die,\u2019\u201d said Emergency responder Kevin Duffy.<\/p>\n \u201cHe said that to me too. He said all he wanted to do was take his wife out to Ruth\u2019s Chris for dinner,\u201d said Sarah Crelin.<\/p>\n Her favorite restaurant.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was pretty cute,\u201d Sarah said.<\/p>\n Those were the final words of 91-year-old Joe Leifken; His last wish before suffering a major heart attack was to take his wife to dinner one last time.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seemed as though he loved her a great deal,\u201d Sarah said.<\/p>\n His wife Margie can\u2019t tell you how hard it is to lose the love of your life. Can\u2019t tell you because her husband\u2019s death was short-lived.<\/p>\n Joe was gone just 10 minutes before medics restarted his heart, and what amazed them was what he woke up shouting.<\/p>\n \u201cHe said, \u2018Ruth\u2019s Chris!\u2019\u201d Sarah said.<\/p>\n He\u2019s coming back from the dead and he\u2019s saying the same thing? \u201cExactly, he said exactly the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Joe got his dinner with Margie, on the house of course. But they say the greater gift is still giving.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re just closer, if that\u2019s possible,\u201d Margie said.<\/p>\n \u201cOh, yeah. She\u2019s one in a million\u201d Joe said. \u201cI can still make her swoon. You want to see it?\u201d<\/p>\n This weekend, couples across America will go out assuming there will be many more Valentines to come. But not Joe and Margie. They will go to dinner appreciating each other now more than ever. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s got six men\u2026\u201d Joe started.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, don\u2019t say that!
