\"JUSTICE<\/a>MIAMI<\/strong> \u00a0– \u00a0A 19-year-old man was sentenced to 56 years and four months in prison for his role in a string of violent armed robberies that targeted food delivery drivers and taxicab operators, officials announced Friday.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Court Judge K. Michael Moore sentenced Lionell Sanders,<\/strong> 19, of Miami, after he plead guilty in December to conspiracy to commit robbery affecting interstate commerce, and two counts each of robbery affecting interstate commerce and the possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.<\/p>\n

The robberies occurred from August 2013 to September 2013, officials said.<\/p>\n
