romantic relationships with \u2013 and used the personal information of some to obtain credit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The indictment charges Campbell with five counts of wire fraud, one count of money laundering, two counts of bank fraud, and one count of aggravated identity theft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ze\u2019Shawn Stanley Campbell, 33, who in recent years has lived in several cities in Los Angeles and Orange counties, was taken into custody March 6 at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport after arriving on an international flight. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">During his first court appearance Monday in federal court in Fort Worth, Campbell was ordered detained, and the United States Marshals Service was ordered to transport him to Los Angeles. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/itt-cannon-to-pay-11-million-to-settle-false-claims-about-untested-connectors\/images-13\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-37630\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/a> Over the course of six years, Campbell allegedly defrauded his victims by lying about his wealth, his ownership of various business, his success in investing money, and his service in the military. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">After convincing the victims he was wealthy, reliable and successful, Campbell asked for money, including for loans that he claimed he would use to support his businesses and to pay his medical bills, according to the indictment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/cropped-justice-scales-1-jpg\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37053 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/cropped-Justice-Scales-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"90\" \/><\/a>In some cases, Campbell obtained money from victims with false claims he would invest their funds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Notwithstanding his various claims, the indictment alleges Campbell used the funds to support his lifestyle, which included the purchase of luxury items. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">When some of his victims refused to give or stopped giving him money, he applied for loans and credit cards in their names without their knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">He allegedly failed to pay off those loans and credit card balances, according to the indictment.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv1349132246MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The
