{"id":42458,"date":"2021-04-08T08:07:04","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T15:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=42458"},"modified":"2021-04-08T08:07:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T15:07:53","slug":"feds-twenty-one-allegedly-possession-of-firearms-and-drug-dealing-conspiracy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/?p=42458","title":{"rendered":"Twenty-One Allegedly Possessed Firearms and Involved in Drug Dealing Conspiracy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"field field--name-field-pr-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<div class=\"field__item even\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong>Seattle<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Twenty-one people were arrested Wed<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">nesday on indictments and criminal complaints charging an extensive drug dealing conspiracy by defendants who often illegally possessed firearms, officials stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"firearms\" src=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/width_12\/public\/press-releases\/images\/2021\/04\/07\/april_7_gun_case.jpg?itok=a3WpblOf\" alt=\"firearms\" width=\"960\" height=\"654\" data-delta=\"3\" \/>Law enforcement executed about ninety search warrants across the Puget Sound region from as far north as Everett and as far south as Spanaway, according to officials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In addition to 16 of the 19 people named in the indictments, 5 additional defendants were arrested on criminal complaints.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/feds-tennessee-school-district-agrees-fix-end-discriminatory-practices\/department-of-justice-loo\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9242\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9242\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Department-of-Justice-Loo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"297\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a>Those arrested will make their initial appearances in U.S. District Court in Seattle and Tacoma over the next<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">few days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cToo often the intersection of drug dealing and gun possession leads to violence in our communities,\u201d said Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.\u00a0 \u201cThese defendants enriched themselves by feeding the addictions of the vulnerable and harming community health and safety.\u00a0 Community safety remains a priority for the Department of Justice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Nineteen defendants are charged in four related<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">indictments with both drug and gun crimes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Multiple defendants in today\u2019s takedown have criminal histories that preclude them from legally possessing firearms.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Prior to Wednesday&#8217;s takedown, thirty-three firearms were seized from drug traffickers identified in this case.\u00a0 Wednesday, another 40 firearms were seized by law enforcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Those named in the indictments unsealed today include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Eugene McGee, 54, of Federal Way, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Larry W. Collins, 48, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Johnathan F. Harrington, 43, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Randolph P. Brown, 48 of Federal Way, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Marco Calvert-Majors, 51, of Seattle<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">David A. Kelley, 52, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Adam Anderson-Dotson, 41, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Jerrell G. Ingram, 42, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Kefentse Lumumba-Olabisi, 40, of Tacoma, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Kenneth N. Lee, 58, of Tacoma<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Edward Coleman, 65, of Tacoma, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Jimmy J. Carter, 42, of Spanaway, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Kevin L. Gipson, 45, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Curtis G. Snipes, 50, of Tacoma, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Richard D. Lewis, 47, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Yusef H. Parrish, 51, of Seattle, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Terry Cameron, 61, of Federal Way, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Michael L. Hopkins, 51, of Tacoma, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Jamar J. Howard, 48, of Renton, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The defendants are all charged with drug distribution counts involving possession of cocaine and crack cocaine.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Brown, Kelley, Parrish, and Snipes are charged with gun possession crimes, including being a felon in possession of a firearm and\/or possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The five defendants arrested on criminal complaints today include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Craig Jordan, 51, of Seattle<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Carlos Daniels, 51, of Bellevue<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Devon Evans, 46, of Seattle<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Cesar Clemente, 41, of Renton, Washington<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Terry Ezell, 54, of Seattle<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Over the course of the investigation law enforcement seized thirty-three firearms, over ten kilos of cocaine, more than two pounds of methamphetamine, more than $160,000 in cash, fentanyl pills and a fentanyl pill manufacturing lab.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/former-marketing-owner-admits-to-stealing-1-1-million-earmarked-for-political-campaigns-news-video\/courtroom\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14523\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14523 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cjnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Courtroom-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>Wedn<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">esday, law enforcement seized an additional 40 firearms, nearly $450,000 in cash and nearly 4 pounds of cocaine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cThe arrests today exemplify the collaboration of agencies at all levels with one common goal, the safety of the citizens we&#8217;ve all sworn to protect,\u201d said Donald M.
